Firstly the Whitestone Surgery team and the Patient Participation Group would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy new year.
Caring Café Christmas Party
Thursday 2nd December 2021 saw the Christmas Party bringing old and new friends together for the first large social gathering since Covid-19 altered everyone’s life. Although some of our friends were unable to attend we still had a really good turn out. As usual Pat Colledge organised yet another very enjoyable Christmas Party. Pat’s hard work is appreciated so much by all of us. Allison kept us all supplied with teas and coffee throughout the event.
The buffet lunch was prepared by Mrs Parkers, local to Attleborough and the party was held at Holy Trinity Church in Attleborough.
Pat discovered a very good singer, Rob Wilson from Hinckley. He serenaded us with not only Christmas songs but songs from the 50’s and 60’s. He engaged so well with us all and had all of us singing away to all his songs.
We held a raffle and this year made £56 in aid of The Mary Ann Evans Hospice in Nuneaton. This is the charity we are supporting and to date we have raised £146. On behalf of all those that attended yet again a huge thank you to Pat and to Dr and Mrs Simon.
